In early 2024, the ChatGPT Writer team faced a challenge: their Chrome extension wasn't convincing free users to upgrade to a paid plan. To solve this, I dove into user research and analyzed product data to find ways to make the extension more appealing and easier to use.
The goal was simple: improve the product so that users would see its value and want to pay for the full version. By understanding user behavior and pain points, we could design a more compelling experience that would naturally encourage upgrades.

I redesigned the extension's interface which was called Convo UI, a approach that simplifies user interaction. By focusing on intuitive controls and reducing cognitive load, we created a clean, professional interface that makes AI-powered text content generation effortless and accessible.
